I can provide you with a free proposal for a web site project. Even if you decide not to accept it, you'll end up with a better idea of what you want in a web site -- so you'll still get something out of it!
- Fill out the Vision Worksheet (Word document) completely.
- If you have a logo, get a digital version of it (Photoshop is best, but Illustrator, GIFs, JPGs, or TIFs work as well).
- Find the imagery that you want to use on the home page and/or header area, if any. These might be your own photos, or they might be stock photos.
- Compile any other information that you want to share. This might include:
- Whether or not you need a logo designed
- If you already have a domain name and hosting set up, or if you want me to help you with it
- If there are special components that you have that you want me to integrate - for example, if you already have an email subscription service and want me to plug in their form code
- If you want me to be your ongoing "webmaster," or if you want to learn how to maintain your site yourself. If the latter, then let me know if you prefer to use FrontPage, Expression Web, Dreamweaver, or a different editor.
- Email everything to me, along with your contact information (full name, email, phone) and the best way and time to contact you! I will try to get back to you within one business day.
